1927 Church Building

Central Baptist Church has been serving as one of God's mighty fortresses here in Ellerslie for over 130 years. 

Central is traditionally known for it's strong, spirit-filled preachers and is often referred to as "Holy Ghost Headquarters".

We are seated in the heart of Harris County where residential growth is phenomenal.

Our church is proud to be a progressive, loving church and we are excited about serving the spiritual needs of this growing community.

 

Central Missionary Baptist Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the evangelical Christian faith, to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community.
